Dr. Cortney’s love for travel and ‘real-world’ experiences is a testament to her understanding of the human condition. Before the age of twenty, she lived in Australia and Argentina and traveled throughout Central America, South America, Russia, Scandinavia, and Western Europe. She is married and has two children—11-year-old Isabella and 9-year-old Kane. She loves to walk on the beach and find little pieces of sea-glass with her family.
